The long-awaited revision and enlargement of a major pioneer work on adobe architecture first published in 1961. The first edition, reprinted here with minor editorial revisions, contains sketches and plans of twenty-two adobe homes inspired by existing old houses in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico; details of Hispanic doors dating from around 1850; and an introductory history of adobe architecture.
