The Second Jungle Book is a book by English author Rudyard Kipling, and was first published in 1895. A sequel to The Jungle Book, it has eight stories, with each one accompanied by a short poem. Five of the stories are about Mowgli and all of them apart from one, are set in India. The stories include: How Fear Came; The Miracle of Purun Bhagat; Letting in the Jungle; The Undertakers; The King's Ankus; Quiquern; Red Dog; and, The Spring Running.
