This is the account of the Mason family's journey from the Lone Tree Ranch at Paxton, Nebraska, to Raton, New Mexico, beginning Oct. 7, 1907. The information is given in daily diary entries. Some of the family moved on to Texas while some remained in Raton. The mode of transportation was 2 pioneer prairie schooners and a buggy.
