Watch a canoe race and hot-air balloon ride in Anchorage. Visit "Alaskaland" in Fairbanks and take a ride on a vintage steam-engine train, followed by an outing on board a stern-wheel steamboat. Pan for gold in Nome, then view an Inupiat tribal ceremony and blanket toss in Kotzebue.
